Police alumni group plans business meeting, potluck

The Sherwood Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Sherwood City Council chambers at 2201 E. Kiehl Ave. A potluck dinner will follow the business meeting.

The alumni association’s purpose is to bring Sherwood citizens and police academy graduates together to promote and enhance community relations between the Sherwood Police Department and citizens, according to academy graduate Doris Anderson.

Beginning in December, association meetings will be on the first Tuesday of each month in the council chambers.
